Mayor Jerry Bartlett and City Manager Corey Harbison made a visit to the Good Hope Primary School earlier today for a “community day” that everyone worked hard to make happen. It’s always nice to visit the schools and see staff members and students. There are so many amazing things going on at our schools!
Today’s event focused on the students as they shared things they have learned or projects they have done during this school year. They all did an outstanding job with their presentations. It was a fun day for everyone.
Although today’s event was about the students, the Mayor and council never want to miss an opportunity to brag on everyone that works hard all year long making sure these students have the perfect environment to grow in. You all do an amazing job and are very much appreciated.

The Good Hope Mayor and Council would like to thank our state delegation, Senator Garlan Gudger Jr., Representative Cindy Myrex, Representative Heath Allbright, and Representative Tim Wadsworth.
Senator Gudger attended our council meeting on Monday, April, 27th and announced that they had secured a million dollars to help pay for upgrades to the sewer system.
These funds are much appreciated and will be a tremendous help to the city as we continue to work on improving infrastructure for the citizens. Thank you all for your hard work, commitment, and continued support of our community.
