We know how overwhelming it can be to start cleaning up after water has damaged your home and belongings. Before you start putting things out by the road, please take a few extra minutes to document everything!

📸 Take photos and videos of ALL damaged belongings. Open boxes and photograph what's inside. Pictures of closed boxes don't show what you owned or what was damaged, and that can make it harder to support your claim.

📏 Document the water level. Use a tape measure to photograph how high the water reached before cleaning up.

📝 Keep a detailed inventory. Furniture, clothing, electronics, toys, and everyday household items can add up quickly!
