The Supreme Court on Monday declined to take up a legal fight involving a Christian school that wanted to broadcast a pregame prayer over the stadium loudspeaker before a championship football game, turning away a major religious liberty dispute on the heels of a 2022 decision involving prayer in schools.

In rejecting the appeal, the high court will not reconsider a 25-year-old decision that found student-led and initiated prayer at football games unconstitutional. There were no noted dissents.

I didn't expect this. Good news but a surprise.

Christian Nationalism Is Rising: Trump No Longer the Center of MAGA From Charlie Kirk’s memorial to statehouse laws, faith is overtaking politics as the driving force in the movement.

When an organization similar to ours, touching on subjects many don't understand, or are clearly uncomfortable with, first gets started, it relies on strong support from people who do understand, and are willing to stand up and say your doing the right thing, and want to help make you successful.

We lost one of our very first strong supporters this weekend; Daniel Reyes.

Fourteen years ago, he not only supported what we were trying to do (teaching Separation of Church and State to local government), but he taught us to reach out to the hundreds if not thousands of people in the LGBTQ community and showed us how to open those doors. Daniel was often at our home working hand in hand with me, or Jeryl in designing invitations to events, or showing us how to promote an event. He will be missed. I'm so sorry I never got to visit him more recently. I should have been better at outreach and I apologize.
