When floodwaters rose in Agua Dulce this week, our deputies, fellow first responders, and county employees answered the call—not for recognition, but because their community needed them.

From day one, these dedicated men and women have worked long, unscheduled hours, helping residents evacuate and supporting families facing uncertainty.

Behind every uniform is someone who puts others' needs first. Behind every long shift is a family waiting for their loved one to come home.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Officers Association wants every one of you to hear this clearly: We see you. We appreciate you. And we are proud to stand beside you.

As crews worked throughout the night to remove several thousand gallons of water, our Association provided meals and coffee to deputies, first responders, and county employees.

Our Association recognizes that taking care of our community also means taking care of the people serving it.

We see the work that happens beyond the camera’s view, and we recognize the teamwork, exhaustion and sacrifices you make. Your contributions deserve more than just a mention—they deserve genuine gratitude and respect.

Actions, not appearances, measure public service. It is found in the willingness to stay, help, and keep going when the work is difficult, and the spotlight has moved on.

To our deputies, every responding agency, and the county employees working alongside them: thank you for showing what service to a community truly means.

Various uniforms and different responsibilities, united by one purpose—helping our neighbors through a difficult time.

To the families supporting these public servants: your sacrifices matter, too.

To the residents of Agua Dulce: you matter. Your safety, your families, and your community are why our members answer the call.

The men and women of our Association stand with you.

EPCSOA partnered with Little Caesar’s Pizza last week to donate pizzas to the amazing students and staff at Mission Valley Elementary School. These kids continue to impress us with their helpfulness, caring attitudes, and sense of responsibility, and it was an honor to show our appreciation for them.

EPCSOA is committed to giving back to our community, and we deeply value local businesses who stand with us and support law enforcement. Partnerships like this remind us how strong our community truly is and how much we can accomplish when we work together.

EPCSOA had the opportunity to speak with students at Premier High School - El Paso Mesa about growing up in challenging times, pushing forward in life, and the opportunities available to them if they choose a career in law enforcement.

The students and staff were genuinely impressed and encouraged by our stories how we faced obstacles, how we grew up, and how those experiences led us to join the Sheriff’s Office. They shared that our humility and honesty gave them a new perspective on what it truly means to serve in law enforcement.

We’re grateful for the chance to connect with these students and proud to help inspire the next generation.

Congratulations to the Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas, CLEAT on 50 years of standing up for the men and women who wear the badge across this great state! 🇺🇸💙

The EPCSOA Board was proud to attend the CLEAT Leadership Conference in San Antonio and spend time with so many of our brothers and sisters in law enforcement.

Being part of a union is personal. It means knowing that when we put on the badge, we don’t stand alone. We stand together, we look out for one another, and we fight for the respect, rights, and future of every officer who serves.

We may wear different badges and serve different communities, but at the end of the day, we’re family and we’re stronger when we stand together. 💪🇺🇸

A huge thank you to the San Antonio Police Officers’ Association for hosting an incredible conference and bringing Texas law enforcement together.

50 years of CLEAT. 50 years of standing together. Here’s to many more. ✊💙
