EPCSOA is proud to support our community!
Today, EPCSOA together with JP 6 Constable Garcia donated drinks, snacks, and fresh fruit for the 6th Annual Free Pool Party at the Fabens Veterans Pool.
Weโre always grateful for opportunities to give back and support events that bring families together. Thank you to all the organizers and partners who make this community celebration possible.

Congratulations to BDO Class 26-02 on achieving a 100% pass rate on their state certification exam! ๐
With graduation just a few weeks away, this milestone is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and perseverance these cadets have shown throughout their training. Earning a perfect pass rate is no small feat, and they should be proud of this accomplishment.
We look forward to celebrating their graduation and welcoming them to the profession. Keep up the great work, Class 26-02! ๐

CLEAT Deputy Executive Director Jennifer Szimanski testified today at the House Committee on Homeland Security, Public Safety, and Veteransโ Affairs interim hearing. Szimanski spoke on two panels, one of which focused on the implementation of the TCOLE sunset bill, specifically law enforcement agency standards. The second panel addressed issues surrounding law enforcement recruiting and retention.
As departments continue to face staffing shortages and increasing demands, CLEAT remains committed to ensuring the voices of Texas law enforcement officers are heard where it matters most. Supporting the profession starts with recognizing the realities officers face every day and fighting for policies that strengthen recruitment, retention, protections, and long-term support for those who serve our communities across the state.

While on patrol in the San Elizario area, Deputy Bueno from our Peter J Herrera Patrol Station met a family going through a tough time. Mauricio, a hardworking father, shared that they had been struggling to make ends meet.
Moments like these remind us that our job goes beyond calls for service. Wanting to help, Deputy Bueno returned with pizza for Mauricio and his children. What started as a simple act of kindness turned into something much more.
After hearing the kids talk about their love for football, Deputy Bueno came back again โ this time with a brand-new football and other essentials to help the family.
Deputies spent time playing catch with the boys, sharing laughs, and giving them a chance to see the patrol units up close.
This is what community looks like. Serving, supporting, and showing up โ not just in emergencies, but in moments that matter most. ๐

EPCSOA is proud to support our partners at El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association EPMPOA and their Annual Golf Tournament benefiting the Ernie Gomez / Ben Ayala Scholarship Fund.
This event brings together first responders, families, and supporters for a great cause helping provide educational opportunities in honor of two respected members of the law enforcement community.
We encourage our members and supporters to participate, show support, and enjoy a day of fellowship with our brothers and sisters at EPMPOA.
Thank you to EPMPOA for continuing traditions that strengthen our law enforcement family and support the next generation.

National Police Week 2026 ๐บ๐ธ๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐ฎ๐๐
On behalf of the El Paso County Sheriffs Officers Association, we honor the men and women who put on the badge each day knowing the weight it carries. Behind every uniform is a person who has missed holidays, sacrificed time with family, answered calls in the darkest moments, and stood the line so others could feel safe.
This week is more than recognition. It is remembrance for those who made the ultimate sacrifice, appreciation for those still serving, and respect for the families who stand beside them through every late night, every difficult shift, and every unknown situation. Your courage matters. The long hours, the stress, the sacrifices that often go unseen by the public do not go unnoticed.
In a profession where strength is expected every day, you continue to serve with honor, integrity, and commitment to this community. El Paso is stronger because of you.
We remember the fallen. We support the living. We honor the badge.
Thank you for your service. Thank you for your sacrifice and above all, thank you for never giving up on the people you protect.
