WE DID IT! 🩷🩵

The 10.15 Project wrapped up on Sunday, and I’m so grateful to have been part of it!

I ran a collective 44.3 miles—some in the daylight, most in the dark, on gravel, pavement, prairie trails, and minimum-maintenance roads.

The runners and crew were amazing, and it was an honor to be part of something so meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who followed along and cheered us on! 💕

Deer Creek Families,

Your feedback is important! A survey was sent out to parents/guardians through Blackboard and Seesaw that focuses on Deer Creek being a safe, supportive, and collaborative school. You should have also received a QR code at conferences. At this time, we have 75 parent/guardian responses. Your response is important to us as we continue to strive to be our best. Thank you for taking time to complete this survey!

10 miles down, 30 to go! 🩵

I’ve officially completed my first leg of the 10.15 Project, and now it’s time to get some rest before my next 30 miles!

One of my favorite parts of this journey has been seeing the signs made by our very own Deer Creek students scattered throughout the walls of the RVs.

The spirit of Deer Creek is with us!

Thank you for all the support and for following along on this incredible journey!

This morning, we sent her off with lots of cheers and encouragement as she ran the halls of Deer Creek! Our learners and staff were excited to show their support and help kick off her incredible journey! 📣

Way to go, Mrs. Kingsley! We are SO proud of you and can’t wait to hear all about your run! You’ve got the whole Deer Creek family cheering you on every step of the way! Hear more about this project by watching the video below!

Today we’re giving a BIG shoutout to our amazing Instructional Coach, Kelly Kopp! ✨

Kelly is one of those people who makes such a difference behind the scenes and in so many classrooms throughout our building. She is always willing to lend a helping hand, share an idea, problem-solve alongside teachers, and encourage our staff to keep growing and learning.

Her knowledge, positivity, patience, and genuine care for both our teachers and learners make her such a valuable part of our Deer Creek family!

Thank you, Kelly, for all the time, support, encouragement, and heart you pour into our school each and every day. We are so lucky to have you!
