Fort Bragg and North Carolina Chapter AUSA Non Profit Organization - Supporting Soldiers, Army Families, Army Civilians, and Veterans

THIS IS A NON – FEDERAL ENTITY.

IT IS NOT A PART OF THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE OR ANY OF ITS COMPONENTS AND IT HAS NO GOVERNMENTAL STATUS. What is the Fort Bragg & NC Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA)? As the only AUSA Chapter in North Carolina, the Fort Bragg and North Carolina Chapter is your local AUSA representative. Our office is located in the Soldier Support Center on Fort Bragg, North Carolina. We represent all Army Active, Reserve, National Guard, Army Civilian Employees, Retirees, AUSA members and their families here in North Carolina. We provide the “grassroots support” for America’s Army. We are celebrating 50 years of service to our soldiers and their families here in North Carolina. We are proud to hold the honor of being the largest chapter in the worldwide AUSA network for the last 35 years, strongly supported by the 82d Airborne Division (largest unit membership for the last 18 years), our Special Operations Forces, and numerous other tenet active, reserve, and national guard units who are stationed on Fort Bragg as well as our other Army elements located throughout the state. We develop programs and activities that provide community support for America's Army through individual and corporate members. We serve as the liaison between the Army and local civilian communities. We help educate the public about the needs for a strong national defense and the Army. The Fort Bragg & NC Chapter, AUSA is involved in a variety of programs to help support deployed and mobilized soldiers and their families. Typical chapter activities include general membership meetings with high profile guest speakers, community involvement events, and special events honoring the Army and outstanding Soldiers. 🎃👻 Things Are Getting SPOOKY at the AUSA Fort Bragg & NC Chapter! 🕷️🦇

Michelle Surita, Kathy Greggs, and their families have been TRUNK-or-TREATING all over Fort Bragg, spreading Halloween cheer, candy, and smiles to our military Families! 🍬🍭

We had a SPOOKTACULAR time supporting three fantastic events:

🎃 525th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade Trunk or Treat

👻 USO North Carolina's Annual Trunk or Treat

🦇 USAWHC & USARC Special Troops Battalion Trunk or Treat

From spooky costumes to sweet treats, it was all about bringing Soldiers and Families together for some frightfully good fun!

🧡🖤 No tricks, just treats—and a whole lot of AUSA spirit! 🎃

🇺🇸📦 Supporting Our Deployed Soldiers!

The AUSA Fort Bragg & NC Chapter was proud to provide care packages for Soldiers of Charlie Company, 3-82 General Support Aviation Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade (All American DUSTOFF), currently deployed overseas.

Our Vice President of Family Programs, Michelle Surita, coordinated the donation of much-needed hygiene supplies, coffee, and comfort items to support MEDEVAC crews who have been providing critical, around-the-clock aeromedical evacuation support for approximately six months.

A special thank you to WO1 Hunter S. Soreide for coordinating the delivery of these supplies directly to our deployed Soldiers!

👏 Thank you, Michelle, for helping make this possible!

🇺🇸 To our deployed Soldiers—thank you for your service and sacrifice. We appreciate you and are proud to support you!
