Honored to share HOPE South Florida’s mission with First United Methodist Church of Fort Lauderdale. Building on Dr. Fred’s legacy, we’re continuing to serve Broward County families experiencing homelessness and we’re proud that 7 families have already moved into housing through our HOPE Way Continuum: Safe Overnight Parking program in the past 6 months.

The future is bright as we continue partnering with our community to bring hope, housing, and opportunity to more families in need.

Good Neighbor Day had us surrounded by laughter, connection, food and SO much fun. Our hearts are completely full. 🥹

A huge thank you to the volunteers from who showed up and helped pack all 150 goodie bags for our neighbors. You didn’t just pack bags… you packed gifts of HOPE!

Community is everything and we are so blessed to have the BEST one around. ☀️

🏘️✨ Happy Good Neighbor Day from HOPE South Florida!

Today we had the absolute joy of showing up for our community at the Good Neighbor Day event hosted by Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale and Calvary Chapel sites right here at our home on North Andrews Ave! 🏠❤️

We handed out 150 goodie bags to our neighbors and soaked in a beautiful day of food, family, and fun. (And yes… we survived the South Florida heat! ☀️🔥😅)

Because everyone deserves hope and a good neighbor. 💛

A huge thank you to Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale and all the Calvary Chapel locations who made this day possible. We are so grateful to call this community HOME.

We recently had the opportunity to visit HOPE South Florida and spend time with their CEO, Joseph Kenner.

Seeing their work firsthand was a powerful reminder of the critical role nonprofits play in strengthening our community. HOPE South Florida is creating pathways for families experiencing homelessness to move toward stability and independence, while keeping families together and restoring dignity along the way.

We are proud to have HOPE South Florida as part of the NEA network.

Great evening at the United Way of Broward Mayors’ Gala last weekend.

We had the opportunity to connect with Broward County Commissioner Lamar Fisher, State Representative Christine Hunschofsky, and even Joey Fatone made an appearance.
Most importantly, we celebrate our incredible partner, United Way of Broward County, and CEO Kathleen Cannon for their continued leadership and commitment to supporting families experiencing homelessness.

Grateful to stand alongside organizations and leaders who are truly making a difference in our community.

Huge thank you to Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale Trail Life Troop # 0208 for partnering with our amazing Food Coordinator, Chef Nathalie, to prepare nearly 200 love bags for families in our Family Safe Parking program 💙

This project was more than just service, it was a powerful opportunity for these young leaders to live out values like teamwork and godly character while making a real impact in our community.
