Halloween is full of spooky fun, but safety should never be scary!

As families across Colorado and Wyoming head out for trick-or-treating, Mile-Hi Fire Apparatus wants to remind everyone to stay alert and keep our little ghosts and goblins safe! 🧡

🚶 For Trick-or-Treaters:
🎃 Use sidewalks and crosswalks.
🎃 Look both ways before crossing.
🎃 Put phones away and stay alert.
🎃 Make sure drivers see you before crossing.

🚗 For Drivers:
👻 Slow down in neighborhoods.
👻 Watch carefully for children crossing.
👻 Eliminate distractions.
👻 Use extra caution when backing up.

🔥 Meet the Team Monday! 🔥

This week, we’re putting the spotlight on Phillip Stocker, Apprentice at Mile-Hi Fire Apparatus! 🚒🔧

Phillip has been part of the Mile-Hi team for 1 year, learning the ropes, getting hands-on experience, and helping keep fire apparatus ready to serve the communities that depend on them!

When he’s not in the shop, Phillip enjoys spending time with friends, hitting the golf course, or casting a line! ⛳🎣

A few fun facts about Phillip:

💧 Go-to drink: Water! Keeping it simple!

⛳ Favorite pastimes: Golfing, fishing, and hanging out with friends.

✋ Fun fact: He’s a lefty! Apparently, he likes doing things a little differently!

🐟 Favorite food: Salmon!

🏁 Dream job for a day: NASCAR pit crew! Because working on fire trucks isn’t quite fast-paced enough! 😂

From the firehouse to the racetrack, Phillip clearly has a passion for working with his hands and being part of a team!

We’re excited to watch Phillip continue to grow his skills and build his career here at Mile-Hi. The future of the fire apparatus industry is in good hands! 💪🚒
