Due to cloud cover, the Astronomy Between the Trees event on Friday, October 9, was postponed. We hope you'll join us for the rescheduled event on November 6th. Hopefully the weather holds out for us this time! 💫

Join us next month at Astronomy Between the Trees, a FREE evening program that combines a twilight hike with an exploration of the night sky 🌙

Participants will begin with a guided hike through Buckley Wildlife Sanctuary as daylight fades, learning about trees, wildlife, and the changing forest around them. As darkness settles in, we’ll turn our attention upward for an introduction to astronomy with the Bluegrass Amateur Astronomy Club Lexington, KY!

Join us November 6 from 6:30PM to 9:00PM at Buckley Wildlife Sanctuary for this one-of-a-kind experience. Reserve your spot today at https://forms.gle/TkyuV59rYHVr5sAM9 🌟

Get creative while using less plastic and saving money this Halloween!

1. Reuse costumes or borrow items from a friend. 92 million tons of textile waste are discarded globally each year, let's use what we have!

2. Use cardboard to DIY spooky decorations, no need to buy new plastic decor.

3. Use a bag or basket for trick-or-treating!

4. Compost, eat, or donate your carved pumpkins to a farm. 21% of waste generated is from food, let's not send our pumpkins to the landfill 😱

Is your business recycling correctly?
