Team Perea partnered with Beautify Fresno at Lions Park this past weekend, providing snacks and refreshments to the hardworking volunteers who came out to help clean up our community!

Together, volunteers collected an impressive 880 pounds of trash! 🧹♻️

A big thank you to Beautify Fresno and everyone who rolled up their sleeves to make a difference. Your efforts help keep our neighborhoods and parks clean and beautiful!

A spooktacular afternoon at Fountain West Apartments! 🎃👻

Team Perea joined families for a fun-filled Trunk or Treat celebration featuring costumes, candy, face painting, and a special appearance by the Fresno Police Department!

Exciting progress at Dolores Huerta Park in District 1!

Located at Milburn and Dakota, this new 4.5-acre park is coming together with playgrounds, sports courts, a skate park, dog park, shaded picnic areas, and more!

As we remember the extraordinary life and legacy of Dolores Huerta, this park will serve as a lasting tribute to her commitment to community, opportunity, and future generations.

We’re looking forward to welcoming families to this beautiful new space when construction is complete. Stay tuned for opening day!

Congratulations to AT&T on the grand opening of their new location on W. Shaw Avenue! 🎉📱

Team Perea joined the celebration, presenting a City of Fresno proclamation recognizing “AT&T Day” alongside community members enjoying local food vendors, games, and festivities.

We’re excited to welcome this new location to District 1 and wish the AT&T team continued success! 💙

Fall back, Fresno! 🍂 Daylight Saving Time ends this Sunday, Nov. 1 at 2 a.m. Set your clocks back one hour before bed Saturday night and enjoy the extra hour of sleep. 😴

It’s also a good time to swap the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

In partnership with Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria, we hosted a roundtable to bring together stakeholders to discuss the alarming recent increase of Domestic Violence statistics in the Central Valley.

I appreciated the opportunity to listen, learn, and gain a better understanding of the challenges facing survivors of domestic violence, the resources available to them, and where additional support in funding and policy is still needed.

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, please join us by having conversations with others about the signs and red flags of domestic violence.

100 years of faith, family, and community! 💜🎉

It was a pleasure joining Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church for their All Saints Day Carnival in celebration of their 100th anniversary!

From family activities and community resources to a special giveaway of 100 bicycles, the celebration was a wonderful example of giving back to our community.

Congratulations to the entire Mt. Pleasant congregation on a century of faith, service, and bringing Fresno families together! ❤️
