Thank you to the professional advisors who joined us on October 19 for our Continuing Education Seminar presented by Michele Thomas Dole, M.S., CFP!

We’re grateful for the opportunity to bring professional advisors together to learn, connect, and dive deeper into client discovery which can transform the way they advise clients. Move beyond basic fact-gathering to uncover what truly matters—clients’ values, motivations, and long-term goals. The presentation was tailored for attorneys, tax, financial, and insurance advisors. Through practical frameworks, an ethical lens, and real-world examples, they gained tools to ask better questions, listen more effectively, and strengthen trust to help them improve outcomes and elevate their professional impact.

At the Community Foundation of Hancock County, we value our partnerships with professional advisors and the important role they play in helping clients turn their charitable goals into meaningful impact.

Thank you to everyone who spent the morning learning with us and thank you to our wonderful presenter, Michele Thomas Dole!

DID YOU HEAR?
Hancock County is planning the future of the County Farm on US-40! The plan will address how the county should develop the property over the coming years, and we want to hear from YOU!

The plan will provide recommendations for the siting of a new justice center complex, appropriate development for the remainder of the farm, what to do with the current historic courthouse building, and more!

Let your voice be heard now by taking the survey! The survey closes on October 31.

The County Commissioners and Council have held preliminary discussions to relocate the County’s judicial functions to the property known as the Hancock County Farm, which already hosts the Sheriff’s Office and County jail and is located at 398 Malcolm Grass Way, Greenfield, IN 46140. There are ways you can give today while still preserving your assets for retirement and providing for your family.

You can support the causes you care about through the Community Foundation of Hancock County (CFHC) without impacting you or your family.

The planning tools on our website ( https://celebratehancock.org/donors/ ) can help you create a legacy in your will or trust, increase lifetime income for you and your spouse & pass on property to your heirs through a charitable plan.

🍁Every season has a purpose...

As leaves begin to fall into place, have you thought about how your legacy will do the same? A planned gift can help ensure the causes you care about today continue to strengthen our community for generations to come.

This fall, take a moment to consider how your values can live on through a legacy of giving. 💛
