We are once again excited and honored to host the **North Carolina Association of Fire Chiefs** for its Executive Development training. Having fire service leaders and departments from across the state fill our auditorium is both exciting and humbling.

PCC Fire Academy: From EMT to Firefighter!

Our Fire Academy cadets have transitioned from their EMT studies into the fire portion of their training, continuing their journey toward becoming well-rounded, highly skilled firefighters.

Today, Greenville Fire/Rescue Captain Tony Klontz and Lieutenant Ryan Rasberry provided Emergency Vehicle Training at our Farmville Center.

Understanding the mechanics, operation, and handling characteristics of fire apparatus is essential to both routine operations and emergency responses. This hands-on training provides our cadets with valuable knowledge and experience as they prepare to serve their communities.

We are grateful to Greenville Fire/Rescue for their continued partnership and commitment to developing the next generation of firefighters!

Fire Training Update!

With our day academy completing its EMT course and beginning fire training next week, we thought we’d take a moment to update everyone on our Eastern and Western Night Firefighter I & II Series.

Both classes are progressing well and are scheduled to complete their coursework in February.

This past Thursday evening, students participated in live-fire LP gas training. In addition to having great students, we pride ourselves on providing the highest-quality instruction through our outstanding instructional staff.

We’re also excited to announce that we now have two new LP gas burn props ready to support our training programs!

If your department is interested in high-quality, hands-on, and intense LP gas training, give us a call today to schedule a training session. We look forward to working with you!

Fire Academy 24 – Week 10!

It’s hard to believe how quickly time has passed with Academy 24! Our cadets are now in Week 10 of their journey, and next week they will take their Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) state exam.

They are also beginning their fire certification training, with Emergency Vehicle Driving (EVD) kicking off the fire portion of their academy experience.

With 16 more weeks of training ahead, these cadets have already accomplished so much. Their hard work, dedication, and amazing attitudes have been a pleasure to watch!

We are proud of their progress and look forward to sharing more as they transition into the fire academy portion of their training.

In the meantime, please join us in wishing Academy 24 the very best as they prepare for their EMT state exam next week! We’re cheering you on!
