Congratulations to our MTMS Athletes of the Week! 🐾🐾🐾
⚽️Soccer:
This week’s Girls’ Soccer Athlete of the Week is eighth grader Aaliyah Alsayyid! Aaliyah is the epitome of a team leader. Her willingness to do whatever the team needs, combined with her strong soccer skills and impressive soccer IQ, make her a valuable asset to the Lady Panthers. Throughout the season, Aaliyah has stepped into multiple positions, always putting the team first. This week, she came up big on defense in our game against Hammonton, helping lead a strong defensive effort. The coaches are extremely proud of Aaliyah and all she has accomplished this season. Keep up the great work, Aaliyah!
The final athlete of the week for boys soccer is 8th grader Paxton Gifford. Paxton has spent all season being an absolutely amazing athlete on boys soccer. He leads drills, the team, and always contributes to elevating the team’s levels. Paxton’s half field boot has helped Middle win in the last few games, sinking in goals from afar. Paxton lives and breathes his sport and does so with every fiber of his being. He has been nothing but respectful of all of his teammates, looks out for everyone on and off the field and that is why he is this week’s athlete of the week.
