MTHS Criminal Justice and Forensics/Science students welcomed the New Jersey State Police K-9 Unit for an exciting, interactive demonstration! Students enjoyed seeing the specially trained K-9 officers in action while learning about the important role the dogs play in law enforcement. The presentation provided valuable insight into the training, care and dedication required to work with a police K-9. This hands-on experience connected classroom learning to real-world criminal justice careers and gave students an engaging opportunity to learn directly from law enforcement professionals. Thank you Jennifer Perrotta, law enforcement teacher, and Jodi Lamoreux, science teacher, for photos and information!
