The Cape May County Council for Young Children The CMCCYC is a county-wide community organization for social services planning.
(1)

We build strong partnerships with parents/families, providers and other community stakeholders - to improve the health, education, safely & well-being of children & families. The Cape May CCYC is established to create an environment where parents/caregivers come together with family service providers and other members as active partners. The responsibility of the council is to identify/discuss the needs, concerns, aspirations and successes regarding issues that affect the health, education and well-being of parents, infants and children age eight and under. Through this collaboration, strong partnerships will be established that allow us the opportunity to work together developing mutually-established goals and implementing creative strategies that reflect the views/priorities of Cape May County.

Building a stronger Cape May County starts with supporting our working families.
With our median age sitting around 52, our local workforce is shrinking and it is getting harder for families to stay and thrive here.

At The Cape May County Council for Young Children, we believe every person in our community is capable of building a stable, independent future.

That is why we are actively working to help local parents get access to career training and affordable housing options. We are not looking at short-term fixes, we want to give our neighbors the tools to support themselves and succeed on their own terms.
