MADISON COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM - RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

- Stay on topic. This page is dedicated to educating students in the Madison County School System and this school. Comments are welcome as long as they directly relate to a topic.

- Have a question for a specific employee? Contact them privately. Fans should not expect responses to every question or comment on this page.

- Be aware of the mission. The mission of Madison County School System and this school is education. Please ensure your comments are appropriate for an educational environment and fans of all ages.

- Be factual; blatantly inaccurate information will not be allowed. MCSS social media managers will remove false information and post accurate information.

🎃👻 Halloween fun in PE at Mt. Carmel Elementary! 🕷️🦇

Our Wildcats had a SPOOKTACULAR time taking on Halloween-themed activities, including rolling through the Bat Cave, Monster Toss, Spider Web Crawling, and so much more! From big smiles to lots of laughs, our gym was filled with Halloween excitement! 🧡

UPDATE: Congratulations to our lunchroom staff for winning! They had 85 votes with 1st grade in a close 2nd with 82 votes.

It’s time for our annual Staff Costume Contest! Our teachers and staff brought their creativity today—now it’s your turn to vote. Like your favorite group costume picture, and the group with the most likes by 7:00 p.m. wins! The group with the most votes gets a duty-free lunch period! Which one gets your vote?

🎒Check the Backpacks! Federal Impact Aid Forms Are Here! 🎒
Federal properties, including Redstone Arsenal and NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, are exempt from local property taxes. Federal Impact Aid helps offset this lost tax revenue, providing important funding to support our students, teachers, and classrooms.
If you are an active-duty military member or work on federal property, including Redstone Arsenal, NASA, the FBI, or other federal facilities, your family may help our district qualify for additional funding.
📄 Every student needs a form! All MCSS families are asked to complete one form per student, even if your family is not federally connected.
📅 Return by Friday, November 20, 2026! Please complete, sign, and return a form for each child in your household.
Every form matters! Your participation helps Madison County Schools secure valuable resources to support the students and communities we serve.
