The electricity delivered to Idaho Falls Power customers is already 97% carbon-free, certified by WREGIS, with most of it coming from hydroelectric generation.

So, what's the point of 'Certified Clean Energy' or the 'Clean Energy Program'? It's a way to voluntarily take your commitment one step further.

For about $4 a month, you can support certified renewable energy and help fund local clean-energy projects including fish studies and population restoration, energy-efficiency education, environmental projects, and more.

Happy 126th Birthday, Idaho Falls Power! ⚡🎂💧

On October 22, 1900, a small hydro generator powered the City of Idaho Falls' first streetlights and sparked a legacy of community-owned electricity. Today, we continue that tradition, harnessing the power of the Snake River to help deliver clean, reliable, and affordable electricity to our community.

From our first generator to today, we’re proud to power the place we call home. Here’s to 126 years of local history, innovation, and service, and an even brighter future! 🥳🥂 To read more of our fascinating history, visit️ https://www.nwppa.org/bulletin/powering-a-community/

🎃👻 What a boo-tiful day for a little trunk-or-treating! 🍂☀️

Idaho Falls Power and Fiber had a spooktacular time at the Idaho Falls Police Department’s 'Real Heroes’ Trunk-or-Treat' on Saturday. Thousands of ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses came out to enjoy the sunshine, colorful fall leaves, and a whole lot of Halloween fun (and candy). Everyone's costumes were frightfully adorable and the trick or treat line stayed steady for 2.5 hours! 🍬🕷️🍫

A big thank-you to everyone who stopped by and to our local first responders for putting on such a fantastic community event. It's one of our favorites! Also, if you haven't yet done so, make sure you take the 3 minute Customer Experience Survey and be entered to win 1 of several fun prizes! https://forms.cloud.microsoft/g/0S82Jr6ZBu 🧡🖤

Until next year… stay safe and stay spooky! 🧙🏼‍♀️🦇
