Way to go, Bulldog Marching Brigade! 🥳🎼🐾

Yesterday, our amazing musicians braved the cold and rainy weather to compete at the ABODA NAU Band Day in Flagstaff! 🏔️

Competing against 6 other incredible bands in division 3, the Bulldogs walked away with 3rd place overall, earning a fantastic score of 70.963. Additionally, the band took home the award for Outstanding Visual Effect! ✨

A massive thank you to our incredible parents, staff, bus drivers, and chaperones. Our program couldn’t run without your unwavering support - keeping our students safe, organized, and cheered on every step of the way.

Additionally, thank you to NAU for hosting a great event. The students love attending and performing this competition every year!! 🙌

As we head into the upcoming weeks of practice and performances, let’s carry this momentum forward. Keep focusing on consistency, doing your best, and giving 100% effort on and off the field. 🎼

What an incredible day yesterday at our very first ABODA competition at Mountain Ridge HS! Our Bulldogs took the field in Division 3 against some fantastic bands and brought home 3rd place with a score of 65.537. 💪🎺

The students had a great run. They are locking in on their musical performance and are growing both individually and as an ensemble. The meaningful visuals capturing the essence of our show, Point of View, are really starting to shine! 🎼👁️

We are so proud of the growth already, but we aren’t stopping here. This week is all about cleaning up the details and continuing to hone our craft. We are getting ready for our next ABODA competition next weekend at NAU! 🌲🏔️

Amazing job, Bulldogs!! Let’s keep this momentum going and continue performing FROM THR HEART! 💙💛

Changing your approach on a show day is selfish.
When you suddenly bring more effort and intensity, everything looks, sounds, and feels different than how you rehearsed it.
This affects both you, and all the people around you.
Focus your energy on doing exactly what you rehearsed, exactly how you rehearsed it.
If you want to be a show day hero, that’s fine…but you gotta bring that same energy to rehearsal so that we can clean THAT version of your show.

Yesterday, the Bulldog Marching Brigade took the field for their first competition of the season at Canyon View High School and we couldn’t be prouder of our performers! 🤩🎼🐾

Performing our 2026 show Point of View, the band put on a great performance against the other talented schools in our division. We are
thrilled to announce that we took 2nd place overall with a score of 67.850! 🥈🎺

Thank you to all of our incredible parents, staff, and volunteers who assist us or come out to cheer us on from the stands. Your energy keeps us moving forward! 😁📣💙💛

We are so excited to take this momentum, head back to the practice field, and continue improving our skills both individually and as an ensemble. Let’s go!!😎🎼💪
