Discovery Post Program. This is the program for 14-17 year olds to learn about emergency services, focusing on the fire service, in hopefully getting them to join their local departments once they turn 16. This program while only in its third year has led to several students joining their home departments. Please share this flyer with anyone you know that might be in the age range.

Lomontville’s 35-10, a 1942 General/Chevrolet Military Special, was originally built for military service during World War II before being acquired by the Lomontville Fire Department.

35-10 proudly served our community for decades, primarily as a brush truck, remaining in service until 1996.

Today, this piece of Lomontville history is preserved at the FASNY Museum of Firefighting in Hudson, NY.

The Officers and Members of the Lomontville Fire Department would like to congratulate Firefighter Abbie Naccarato on successfully completing the 4-Week Firefighter I Bootcamp, where she trained in engine operations, truck operations, and firefighter self-rescue.

We’re especially proud to recognize Abbie for earning Valedictorian of the class, an incredible accomplishment that reflects her hard work and dedication.

Congratulations, Abbie, and congratulations to all of today’s graduates on this outstanding achievement!
