Loudoun County Firefighters Kick Off “Heroes for the Holidays” Toy Drive🎁🚒🚑🎁

The holidays are right around the corner, and the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System (LC-CFRS) is kicking off its second annual “Heroes for the Holidays” Toy Drive in partnership with Loudoun Career Fire Fighters Foundation (LCFFF) and IAFF Local 3756. Our first campaign in 2025 was a huge success, with over 4,400 toys collected to benefit children in need in Loudoun County, as well as over $3,700 in donations collected by the LCFFF to assist the non-profit organizations we support. This year’s campaign will begin Monday, October 26, 2026, and run through Friday, December 4, 2026.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at any of our LC-CFRS stations, beginning Monday, October 26, 2026, through Friday, December 4, 2026. Toys can also be donated at our fire and rescue headquarters (801 Sycolin Road) and the Training Academy (16600 Courage Court) in Leesburg.

For those wishing to make a monetary donation, visit the official website for the Loudoun Career Fire Fighters Foundation (LCFFF), the charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit of Local 3756. In the note field, please list the “Heroes for the Holidays” Toy Drive. https://bit.ly/LCFFFToys2026

Any donations collected by the LCFFF will directly benefit the Toy Drive and be used to purchase toys for the Loudoun County non-profits we support.

For additional information about the “Heroes for the Holidays” Toy Drive, please contact Lieutenant Rob Boyer at (240)-674-4906 or via email at [email protected]

🚒❤️ A Big Thank You from the Loudoun Career Firefighters Foundation! ❤️🚒

First and foremost, we want to sincerely apologize for the cancellation of our car show scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2026. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans for us, and the weather simply wasn’t going to cooperate.

While we were disappointed that we couldn’t hold the show, we’re already looking ahead! We are currently working toward hosting another car show toward the end of June 2027, with a rain date planned as well. We’ll share more details as we get closer to June, so stay tuned!

In the meantime, don’t miss our next event on October 11, 2026, at Milltown Haunt! 👻🔥

We also want to take a moment to recognize the incredible sponsors and supporters who helped make our car show possible:

🔹 Ray Muth – Executive Emergency Lighting LLC
🔹 Cory Nail – LoCo Window Tint
🔹 Adam White – Route 11 Cruz’n

Your support means so much to the Foundation. Without you, we would not have been able to put this event together. Although we weren’t able to hold the show this time, your generosity will continue to help us as we work toward bringing it back in June 2027.

A special thank-you also goes out to Keith from Ion-The Rinks at Compass Creek for generously sharing their space with us and helping make this event possible. We truly appreciate your hospitality and support of the Foundation.

We also want everyone who donated raffle items to know that your donations did not go to waste! All of the items that were collected will be saved for our June 2027 car show. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to gather and donate items for the event.

And finally, a huge THANK YOU to all of the LCFR personnel who donated items and contributed toward the trophies. Your continued support of the Foundation means a great deal to us, and those contributions will also be put to use at our next car show.

While we may not have been able to enjoy a day of cars, trucks, friends, food, and fun this time around, we are truly thankful for everyone who helped make the event possible. ❤️

We’ll see you in June 2027! 🚒🏆🚘

And remember, our next event is October 11th at Milltown Haunt! 👻

Thank you for supporting the Loudoun Career Firefighters Foundation!

❤️ Help Us Support the Firefighters Who Serve Loudoun County

The Loudoun County Career Fire Fighters Association Foundation exists to support our members and their families when they are facing difficult and unexpected circumstances.

Whether it is a serious illness, injury, loss, family emergency, or another hardship, our goal is simple: to be there when one of our own needs help.

But in order to give, we first have to raise the funds that make that support possible.

Our Foundation relies solely on donations, fundraising efforts, and the generosity of individuals, businesses, and organizations in our community. We do not have a large corporate funding source or a guaranteed stream of charitable contributions.

We are reaching out to local businesses, civic organizations, community groups, and individuals who may be willing to support our mission through a monetary donation, sponsorship, fundraising partnership, or other contribution.

We also want to clarify that our Foundation is separate from the Loudoun First Responders Foundation. While both organizations support members of the public-safety community, we are independent organizations with separate funding and missions. Donations made to other first-responder charities do not fund the assistance provided by our Foundation.

Every contribution to our Foundation helps build the resources we need to support Loudoun County Career Fire Fighters and their families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

We need to raise money in order to give money — and every donation, large or small, makes a difference.

If your business or organization would like to support the Foundation, sponsor a fundraiser, make a donation, or discuss another way to partner with us, please reach out.

Your generosity allows us to take care of the people who spend their careers taking care of our community.

🚒❤️ Thank you for supporting our firefighters and their families.

Please consider sharing this post with a local business, organization, or community partner who may be interested in helping.
