Boo On Main is happening this Saturday, October 24, and the forecast looks great! With over 50 participating organizations offering treats, thousands of little ghosts and goblins are expected to join in the fun.
This trick-or-treat style event features local businesses and organizations lining Main Street to safely welcome the public and costumed youth. Families can stroll by for youth to collect candy, small prizes, or coupons from the participants. The official Boo On Main photo station will be added to the Town Center Stage for everyone to capture their family photo.
To help the event run smoothly, we kindly ask for your cooperation in forming lines. Please use one of the two entrances to access the event: The north entrance at Town Center Park and the south entrance at CVNB.
Guests will follow the treat loop and exit from the same entrance they used to enter if they choose to do the complete loop. Two lines moving both north and south on Main Street to help reduce congestion and speed up the flow of the event.
New for this year; the Boo on Main Costume Contest! Stop by the Town Center Stage for the Official Boo on Main Photo Opp! We’ll take your picture whether you want to enter the costume contest or not, but 1 lucky person will win a $100 Gift Card to a local eatery!
Special thanks to all City of London departments, including the Police Department, Fire Department, Public Works, and the Laurel County Department of Public Safety/Emergency Management, for partnering with London Tourism & Parks to make this event possible.
As there will be a large crowd, we also ask that you be patient with fellow guests at this family-friendly event and remember to have fun!
Please note that Trick-or-Treat across London-Laurel County will take place on Halloween, October 31, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
