We took our students out to a ball game! Mental breaks go a long way. Can’t wait to see what we do next year for our 9th and 10th graders!

Learning comes to life when you get to connect what you’re learning in the classroom to what’s going on outside. Our Humanities 61 class “People and Their World: the Creative Process” had a chance to do just that last week when they applied their learning during a tour at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art.

Youth In Power Club joined our CHLA partners at LA City Hall today. We are so proud of our young leaders! Go Tigers!

Three of our superstar parents took to the classroom this week to lead a lesson about financial literacy - that they created - to our seniors. With graduation just around the corner, this was a much needed chance for our scholars to think about their financial goals and how they’ll reach them. The learning is going to continue with a few more sessions in this series before the semester ends - so stay tuned!
