My office recovered full restitution for fire survivors in a civil enforcement action against Blueground US, Inc., the home rental giant, who allegedly engaged in price gouging after the January 2025 wildfires. As a result, Blueground is required to pay $1.2 million in penalties plus restitution to price gouged tenants. More info: https://shorturl.at/lu1dw

I joined the Miguel Contreras Foundation for their annual Cinco De Mayo Awards, honoring leaders in the local labor movement.
