Officially graduated from Cal State LA with my B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
Just want to say thank you to everyone who supported me along the way. Family, friends, classmates, professors, and everyone who believed in me, I truly couldn’t have done it without you. Grateful for all the memories, lessons, and people I met throughout this journey.🎓

As a little kid, I never imagined I would make it this far.
There were days I wanted to quit. Days I doubted myself. Days I felt like the pressure, the pain, and the responsibility were too heavy to carry. But I kept going because I knew I wasn’t doing this just for me.
Today, I graduate with my Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection and Administration. And while everyone sees the cap and gown, they don’t see the tears, the sleepless nights, the struggles, the losses, and the battles it took to get here.
I want to thank my family for believing in me even when I struggled to believe in myself. Thank you for every sacrifice you made so I could have a better future. Thank you to my friends who stood beside me through every high and low.
But this moment… this moment belongs to my cousin in heaven. 🕊️
I remember standing there after losing you, broken and lost, making you a promise that I would become somebody. That I would make something out of myself. There were times I almost gave up, but your memory kept pushing me forward. I carried that promise with me every single day.
So today, as I stand here as the first firefighter in my family and a college graduate, I hope somewhere in heaven you’re smiling down on me proud… because I finally did it.
This isn’t just a degree. This is proof that pain can turn into purpose. This is proof that promises can be kept. This is for my family. This is for you.❤️🚒
