Important traffic update here in District 6

🚧 I-65 Central Corridor Traffic Advisory 🚧

🎉 Project Milestone: Three I-65 Ramps to Reopen This Week

👷 I-65 Central Corridor crews have completed enough work on the new I-65 bridge over Hill Street/CSX Railroad/Burnett Avenue to reopen three I-65 ramps.

📅 By 6 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, drivers can expect the following to reopen:
✅ On-ramp to southbound I-65 from Magnolia, Floyd and Preston streets
✅ Off-ramp from southbound I-65 to Arthur Street (Exit 134)

📅 By 6 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, drivers can expect the following to reopen:
✅ On-ramp from Preston Street to northbound I-65

My office is excited to be one of the sponsors for the 2026 African Heritage Festival this weekend, which kicks off Friday right here in District 6 at Ben Washer Park. Huge thanks to Bridge Kids International and everyone else who played a part in making this event a reality.
