Happening today! Jigsaw puzzling contest, 2pm....

Ready, Set, Solve: WCLS Speed Puzzling Contest
Saturday, Oct 24, 2:00 p.m., North Fork Library

Join the fun in the first ever WCLS speed puzzling competition! Teams of up to 4 people will compete to see who can finish a copy of the same 300-piece puzzle the fastest in under 1 hour. Puzzles provided. Don't have a team? Register anyway and on the day of the competition we will pair you up with others looking for a team. The top team from each participating library branch will have the opportunity to compete at the WCLS Speed Puzzling Championship on November 8th at Open Book. This event is open to anyone looking for a puzzling good time! Register your team in-person at the North Fork Library or by calling (360) 599-2020. Team names are welcome and encouraged!

LIBRARY CARD SIGN-UP MONTH: Now that's a beautiful library card! We are honored to feature a design by Coast Salish artist Sienum Jason LaClair as one of our new library card options. Jason originally created "Cedar People" to accompany our Land Acknowledgement. We knew right away it would look great on a card. Thank you, Jason. Join staff member Kelly Uusitalo for Qigong this Thursday Sept. 17 from 7-8pm in the new library meeting room! Kelly has practiced Qigong for 15 years. Her sessions will include healing sounds, postures, flows, and breathing techniques. Each workshop will end with a 10-minute meditation. Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
