We’re proud to celebrate Dr. Mary “MJ” McConner of the Junior League of Memphis on being named one of the 2026 AJLI 40 Under 40 honorees!

This international recognition from the Association of Junior Leagues International celebrates outstanding women leaders making meaningful impact in their communities and beyond. MJ’s leadership, service, and commitment to Memphis reflect the very best of our League and our city.

Celebrating our March Volunteer of the Month, Paula Watkins! 🎉

Paula was nominated for her outstanding dedication and generosity to Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry. Paula joined JLM in 2022 and is now serving her first year as Provisional Vice Chair. Her impact is felt across the entire league!

She went above and beyond by bringing 100 of her sorority sisters to support the Sweet Cheeks January Community Distribution Day and helping secure a donation of more than 8,000 diapers, wipes, and adult briefs for families in need. Paula also faithfully supports Packing Parties, helping ensure Sweet Cheeks is prepared for each monthly distribution. Her leadership, reliability, and heart for service truly embody the spirit of Sweet Cheeks, and we are so grateful for her continued support! ✨❤️

Krystal Webster, a fourth-year active member, is our February Volunteer of the Month. We couldn’t be more grateful for her dedication and persistence! ❤️

Here is what her fabulous committee had to say about Krystal:

"Krystal is always willing to help out regardless if it is her assigned event to host or not. She volunteers to pick up materials, look into resources, and uses her community to help organize the best events for the Best Buddies citizens. She is also a very active member of the committee. She always comes to meetings with ideas and suggestions that elevate events and help her fellow members plan!"

For 37 years, Pat Pope has been a guiding heart of the Junior League of Memphis — leading with professionalism, kindness, and unwavering dedication.

To celebrate her incredible legacy, the Pat Pope Legacy Endowment Fund was established in February 2026 by JLM Past Presidents and generous supporters.

This fund will create annual training opportunities for a JLM member or staff member, extending Pat’s lasting impact far into the future.
