For the third consecutive year, ECRW is proud to support the Blue Star Mothers of Coastal Carolina and their wonderful Hero Boxes Initiative, which sends Christmas packages filled with goodies and a little taste of home to our military men and women deployed overseas during the holidays.

We were delighted to welcome Carol Dion, President of Blue Star Mothers of Coastal Carolina, and her daughter, Melissa, a U.S. Army veteran, to our October meeting. ECRW presented Carol with a $250 donation, and thanks to the generosity of our members, they also headed home with a car full of supplies to help fill those Hero Boxes!

Thank you to the Blue Star Mothers for all they do to remind our deployed service members that they are appreciated, remembered, and never forgotten! 🇺🇸

President Donald J. Trump just crushed the U.S. trade deficit, slashing it from $136 billion to just $29.4 billion — the lowest in nearly 20 years. CNBC anchors are in shock, forced to admit Trump and Scott Bessent were right all along.

Gas prices keep getting blamed on one guy while the big decisions on refineries, pipelines, and reserves happened years earlier. Public energy reports list which projects got shut down and when the strategic reserve got drawn down. Anyone can pull those dates and see the timeline for themselves. The sequence is pretty clear once you line it up.

Working families feel the pump prices every week. Past decisions on domestic production sit out in the open. The difference between cutting supply and then pointing fingers shows up fast. The choice stays simple.

Back the side that lines up with keeping energy affordable and available. Or go the other way. Most people who actually compare the records land on the first one. That is the practical side. Look at the history. The rest follows from the numbers. The public decides. The cost at the pump is what sticks.
