What an amazing night we had Under the Sea here at the Rockcastle County Health Department!

Thank you to everyone who came out and made our event such a success. We had a wonderful turnout and loved seeing so many families enjoying the adventure!

On October 15th, 2026 the Jackson County Health Department had their 26th Annual Mountain Fest Health Fair! This event is planned by the Health Department and our community health coalition, JCHIPS (Jackson County Health Improvement Partners). We meet via video the 3rd Tuesday of the month at noon. If you would like to join us, just email Lisa at [email protected] Thank you to all that set up or came through the Health Fair, brought or donated door prizes and to Jackson Co. Bank for their monetary donation.

Trick-or-Treat Walk-Through

4:00–7:00 PM

Bring the kids by for a fun filled walk through with Halloween treats, underwater scenes, and characters along the way!

NO COSTUME? NO PROBLEM!

Costumes are not required. Just come as you are and join the fun!

Clay County Health Department provided goodie bags for the first annual Breast Cancer Awareness Event at East Manchester Bridge tonight. Breast Cancer Warriors and supporters turned out out in full force.
