Residents -

Public Works has closed the southbound lane of Old Lufkin Road between Arbor Oak Street and Southern Oak Street to repair a portion of the road. During this temporary closure lasting several hours, motorists should expect delays moving through the area as traffic will be restricted to one lane until repairs are completed.

We spent the morning with Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful for the Citywide Cleanup Challenge. It was a nice cool morning to pick up trash and help beautify our community. Thank you to the volunteers who came out to help.

Members of the City’s Executive staff team and Nacogdoches Mayor Randy Johnson attended the 30th annual Nacogdoches Economic Development Cooperation meeting and luncheon. The panel discussion on Economic Development showcased all of the great things on the horizon for Nacogdoches! Thank you to NEDCO for all you do for our city!
