Who says a little science can’t be fun and full of lessons? Students in Mrs. Angela’s class completed friendship painting.

We painted one child’s hand blue and another yellow then had them give each other a high-five! We mixed the paint to make the color green! Lots of laughs and smiles during this activity.

SURPRISE! Our very own Mrs. Sarah was the recipient of a CapEd grant. She will be purchasing materials to build ASL communication in her classroom. Big thank you to CapEd Credit Union for the support of our teachers!

We have been quiet lately but it is because we have been hard at work. The students in Mrs. Jenni’s class spent time exploring the theme of family. This included acting out typical household tasks that worked on their fine motor, spatial orientation, peer negotiation, communication skills, and so many other.

We had a GRRRREEEEAAATTTT (cue Tony the Tiger voice) day with students today! It was so refreshing to hear their voices in the hallway, see who remembered our routines, and just enjoy their presence. Tomorrow we get to see more of your faces and our hearts will be full!
