FiftyForward had an incredible time connecting with our community and sharing resources at last week's Senior Resource Fair!

Held on October 27, 2026, at the Hermitage Community Center, attendees connected with Metro Nashville departments and community partners offering resources for older adults, caregivers, and families.

From health and wellness tips to supportive services, it was inspiring to see so many come together to champion active aging and community support.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by, participated, and helped make this event a success!

FiftyForward Knowles hosted the inaugural All-Center Golden Games last week, and teams from every FiftyForward center brought their A-game. Each group faced off in fun-filled minute-to-win-it challenges, including co****le tossing, cup flipping, cup stacking, and more!

A huge round of applause to our champions!

FiftyForward Friends Adult Day Services is OPEN, and we are now enrolling new participants!

Are you a caregiver looking for a safe, nurturing, and engaging place for your loved one during the day? Our Adult Day Services program is designed for adults 50+ who may have cognitive, memory, health, or other physical needs.

The FiftyForward Adult Day Services program is now available at three Middle Tennessee locations, serving families and older adults in Nashville, Brentwood, and Bordeaux.

Adult Day Services is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This week, the FiftyForward Knowles Sisterhood volunteer group came together to honor and celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Each October, people across the country unite to raise awareness and support for the millions of people affected by breast cancer. Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) reminds us that awareness is important—but it’s our actions that save lives.

The sisterhood social group honored the month by inviting survivors to come, celebrate their journey, share their stories, and be with friends.

Yesterday, FiftyForward Knowles hosted a meaningful Lunch & Learn with our friends at CenterWell Senior Primary Care, focusing on the important topic of Mental Health and Well-Being.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Eric Foley from CenterWell for leading an open, insightful conversation that truly resonated with our members.

We’re also grateful to CenterWell representative Clark Fitzgerald for sharing valuable resources and an overview of CenterWell’s services.

Our members enjoyed delicious box lunches from Apple Spice - Nashville, TN, and left feeling more connected and empowered to prioritize their mental health.

FiftyForward is so excited to share this inspiring video from the Greater Nashville Regional Council, featuring FiftyForward members sharing their experiences with the Digital Literacy for Seniors program!

The Digital Literacy for Older Adults program teaches participants how to use technology safely to access essential services.

Through a partnership with senior centers and Tech Goes Home, participants learn the skills and confidence to use computers and get online, helping them maintain independence, access information and services, and stay connected to friends and family.

A huge round of applause for the inspiring FiftyForward Knowles Sisterhood volunteer group!

This dynamic new women’s group is already making a difference by volunteering with nonprofits across our community. Last week, they rolled up their sleeves at Nashville Diaper Connection and wrapped an incredible 1,800 diapers for local babies in need!

Nashville Diaper Connection is a Middle Tennessee nonprofit that ensures every baby has access to clean diapers; with volunteers like this, they repackage and prepare diapers for donation to families through trusted community partners.

We’re so proud of the Knowles Sisterhood for their compassion, teamwork, and commitment to supporting families in Nashville. Thank you for being a shining example of the power of giving back!

We’re so grateful to OpenAI, the Nashville Public Library, and AARP Tennessee for empowering over 100 older adults with hands-on AI learning. From exploring ChatGPT to building confidence with new technology, our community is embracing the future together - one tablet at a time!
