May 4-8 is Construction Safety Week!
The "All In Together" initiative aims to unite the construction industry around a shared commitment to health and safety, particularly to prevent serious injuries and fatalities (SIFs). The event emphasizes unity, trust, and shared responsibility across all levels of the industry to strengthen safety culture and reduce preventable incidents. The week will feature a new alliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to enhance the impact of Construction Safety Week and foster a culture of safety across construction projects. Additionally, the event will support the National Safety Stand-Down on May 6, encouraging companies across the United States and Canada to pause and reflect on their safety practices. Construction Safety Week is not just an event; it represents the industry's ongoing dedication to fostering a safety culture that values continuous improvement and collaboration. By sharing best practices, tools, and resources, the event aims to make a lasting impact on how safety is perceived and acted upon within the industry.
