Hey everyone! Do you have gently used jewelry or accessories you’re no longer wearing?💍🕶️📿👛 Starting today, the Public Library of New London will be collecting donations for our upcoming Jewelry Fundraiser Sale on September 12th, 2026! We are accepting a wide variety of items, including necklaces, rings, bracelets, purses, scarves, pins, and other fashionable accessories! Donations will be accepted through 9/10 and will be available for purchase at the sale on 9/12. We truly appreciate your generosity and support in making this fundraiser a success.

Join us for an awesome All-Ages Storytime this coming Wednesday! We will have Aldrich sensei read stories and talk about aikido at 10:30 am!

We are rescheduling Baby Rave Summer Bash Storytime to this Friday, June 5th!

Hey YA! June is here! This upcoming week we have some fun programs prepared to celebrate Pride month, Caribbean-American heritage month, and our summer reading theme.

Each Monday in June we will be hosting a different Crafternoon related to the summer reading theme which is "Plant a seed, read!" This week we will be using perler beads to make fruits and veggies.

Tuesday is Game On! The teen activity room has 6 computers and Nintendo Switches as well as an assortment of video games and board games. Let's play some Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros and try to win some prizes!

Wednesday we will be using the Library of Thing's pin maker to make Pride pins to wear all month long. Mark your calendar for June 11th which is the teen room's Pride Celebration!

Thursday is a Teen Cooking Class with Chef Erika. Let's learn a new recipe while celebrating and honoring Caribbean-American heritage month.

Every Friday we have our Teen Movie Series. Unwind before the weekend with a film and enjoy some popcorn.
