From favorite dishes to vibrant carnival traditions, 5th grader Isabella is proudly showing us what being Dominican is all about! 🇩🇴

She shared how much she loves mangú con tres golpes (mashed plantains topped with salami, eggs, and pickled onions), talked about the colorful diablo cojuelo during Dominican Carnival, and taught us the classic Dominican greeting: "¡Klk!" (¿Qué lo qué?). Celebrating our scholars’ rich heritage and lived experiences makes our school community stronger, more connected, and full of joy every single day.
