Our Always Reading students know a thing or two about becoming Super Readers, so we asked them to share one tip they'd give a friend. Between choosing books they enjoy to finding a comfy reading spot (can't forget the snack -- thanks Hailey!) and sticking to a bedtime reading routine, their tips showcase the small daily at-home habits we help families build that lead to strong reading routines for a lifetime.

Students in our Always Reading program earn a Super Reader sticker by reading on their digital library at least 3 times a week or for 180 minutes in a month. Caregivers and teachers tell us these monthly milestones make a big difference by encouraging students to build lasting reading habits and celebrating their progress along the way.

This event is a literacy collaboration between Kristi Yamaguchi's Always Dream, the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose, and the San José Public Library Foundation to raise crucial funds that promote the importance of reading.
