We are happy to announce that Magnify Dance Instruction is coming to Palos Hills, offering youth dance classes!
Ms. Shannon and Katie from Magnify Dance have been deeply rooted in the dance community on the southwest side of Chicago for over 12 years. The journey began when Ms. Shannon Edwards opened the the original dance studio in Evergreen Park with her mother in 2013. The company has shifted to a sister duet with Katie McGuire. Magnify Dance is a newly re-branded company that focuses on technical and concert dance styles. Classes are structured, fun, whimsical and technique focused. Dancers will eventually perform in beautiful productions that bring their learned skills and abilities to life on stage. Previous productions include the Nutcracker, Cinderella, The Ruby Slippers, Wonderland and more. Ms. Shannon has been teaching since 2008 and has been artistic directing since 2013. Ms. Shannon and her family live in Palos Hills!
The City of Palos Hills Resource Department, Palos Park Recreation Department and the Worth Park District will be hosting these classes together in order to maximize space and offer a variety of youth classes. Look for information about our dance program in the upcoming winter/spring park brochure.
