We're still looking at a threat for severe weather later today though the timing looks to be slightly later than previous thinking as the best chance for severe storms will be during the evening period.

This morning, Engine 14 was dispatched with on box 11-54 for an accident with fire on the Burlington-Bristol Bridge. While responding, the engine was diverted to a fire alarm on the Dow Chemical property, which was quickly canceled sending the engine back to the bridge incident. The engine provided water and manpower while on the bridge. While the engine was committed, a report of a fuel tanker on fire was transmitted for Northbound Interstate 95 south of Route 413. With the engine out of water and still committed, the crew from Engine 14 assisted staffing Rescue 11 and responded to that incident. Once the Engine was restored to service and secured water, it too responded to a hydrant at Mott and Broadway to prepare for a water shuttle for the I-95 incident. That fire also was quickly brought under control, and crews returned to service. All photos credit the original photographers

At last night’s business meeting, Members of the Bucks County Honor Guard presented to Trudy Margavich the American flag and memorial badge honoring her late husband, Past Chief Ed Margavich, which were presented to them on behalf of 3DVFC at last month’s National Fallen Firefighters Memorial ceremony. We would like to thank Dave, Julie, and the rest of the Honor Guard for representing the Margavich Family and 3DVFC at the ceremony, and for the presentation last evening.
