⚠️ If your renewal seems to be stuck in limbo, please log in to the Licensing Portal to see if you have any incomplete tasks. Failing to answer the renewal questions, upload proof of citizenship and a photo, and pay your fees can result in longer wait times.

We're so excited for the newly licensed Arizona Correctional Industries Cosmetology School at Perryville Women's Prison! The school will provide the in-depth training students need for successful careers in our industry upon release. 💇‍♀️💅🏽

Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry

In recent years, the Arizona Department of Corrections has been focusing on workforce development programs — things like HVAC and plumbing. Now they’ve launched a new, on-site cosmetology school for incarcerated women at Perryville Prison who have at least 24 months left in their sentence.
