On Wednesday, The Buffalo Fire Department​ and Fire Commissioner Pizzaro announced the largest apparatus procurement in their 146-year history. This procurement includes 20 apparatus from Rosenbauer America: 12 COMMANDER™ pumpers, 2 COMMANDER™ Rescues, 3 100' Viper Aerials, and 3 88' Mid-Mount Cobra Platforms. This investment is part of the department's plan to replace apparatus on a structured schedule, ensuring firefighters have the reliable equipment they need to serve their community at the highest level.
