WELCOME MESSAGE
Clinton County SWCD is your local conservation and natural resource agency. Feel free to peruse our page and website to see just a sampling of the types of information and services SWCD can provide. Our programs and services are based on the needs and interests of county residents and communities, so feel free to contact us if you have questions or ideas! Technical assistance is available free of charge and our programs are strictly voluntary. SWCD is non-regulatory based on our belief that the most successful conservation is borne from self-motivation and personal stewardship ethics.

Calling all educators! Are you looking to enhance an existing science unit or introduce students to new conservation concepts? Clinton County Soil and Water is available to help with environmental education through bringing engaging, hands-on, and in-person lessons to your classroom.

These interactive learning experiences are designed to help students better understand the natural world and the importance of protecting our soil, water, and other natural resources in our community. Lessons can be tailored to accommodate all age groups. Main topics include watershed education, soil health, water quality, and invasive species but we're open to working with you on a different topic!

Interested in bringing conservation to your classroom? Contact us at (518) 561-4616 ext. 3 or email District Technician, Brittany Bashaw, at [email protected]

We want to thank the volunteers, town officials, and municipal workers who took time to help us in the field complete this phase of our program.
