A positive pregnancy test tells you that you’re pregnant. An ultrasound can tell you more.

It can help determine:
• How far along the pregnancy may be
• Whether the pregnancy is developing in the uterus
• Whether cardiac activity is present
• Whether there are other findings that may need medical follow-up
