Slow down, little monsters are out!
Halloween is almost here, and our Richland neighborhoods will soon be filled with ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and trick-or-treaters of all ages.
As families head out to enjoy the festivities, we’re asking everyone behind the wheel to take extra care:
đźš— Drive slowly through residential neighborhoods.
đź‘€ Watch for children crossing streets and entering roadways unexpectedly.
🚸 Look carefully at intersections, driveways, and between parked cars.
📵 Put your phone away and stay focused on driving.
Parents and trick-or-treaters: carry flashlights or glow sticks, wear reflective clothing when possible, and use crosswalks whenever available.
Let’s work together to keep our little monsters safe this Halloween!
