Our youth volunteers brought so much joy to us all last week! For 3 afternoons they did so much; from patio games to bingo, watering the gardens to 1 on 1 friendly chats, and painting to napkin folding, they really connected with our residents in assisted living and memory care. They even managed to bring a birthday party in for Barbara! We are so thankful for you, Berea Baptist Church Youth!

Happy Juneteenth! Today, we pause to recognize a significant milestone in American history and celebrate the enduring spirit of freedom. May this day inspire reflection, learning, and appreciation for the progress made while encouraging us to continue building stronger, more inclusive communities.

We may have found a new favorite outing! Our trip to the Lakeside Farmer's Market was filled with fresh flavors, friendly faces, and beautiful summer weather. 🌞🍑🍅

Everyone enjoyed sampling juicy peaches and sweet cantaloupe, and we couldn’t resist bringing some peaches and tomatoes back to the community to enjoy with lunch — a delicious treat!

We also loved learning about Tatiana’s family garden and chatting with a farmer from Lopez Farm about their produce and growing practices.

It was a wonderful day spent connecting with the community and enjoying the best of the season. We’re already looking forward to our next visit on a beautiful Wednesday! ☀️🚜🌱

For the 3rd year in a row, Tarrant's West had hosted a lunch percentage donated to the Alzheimer's Association to support our DVWE fundraising efforts.

This year we had the best turnout ever as the restaurant was packed!

Along with Tarrants, we love partnering with At Home Care Hospice & Adoration Home Health to maximize our efforts!
