April showers bring May flowers—and CSKF is pleased to share highlights from our recent event, Planting Seeds for Healing: Ready, Set, Bloom. 🌱🌸
Building on the success of last year, this meaningful activity brought children and families together once again to explore the therapeutic benefits of planting, nurturing, and growth. Through hands-on engagement, participants experienced how simple, shared moments with nature can foster connection, resilience, and emotional well-being.
We are grateful to our dedicated behavioral health team and resource parents for creating an environment that supports healing and family connection. This event served as a timely reminder of the importance of mental wellness and community—especially as we recognize Mental Health Awareness Month. 💚

Today, our Behavioral Health clients and their caregivers enjoyed a creative and uplifting Junk Journal activity!
For those wondering, a Junk Journal is similar to a scrapbook, using magazines, stickers, textured paper, and other fun materials to hold memories, express feelings, or simply spark creativity.
There’s no right or wrong way to make one — everyone was encouraged to silence their “inner critic” and freely express themselves. Several participants even shared their journals with the group, with a beautiful common theme of music woven throughout their pages.
Our Behavioral Health team and caregivers helped create a supportive space where clients felt confident trying something new and connecting with others. We wrapped up the event with a delicious meal generously donated by Wild Wings Moreno Valley. Buffalo Wild Wings
It was truly heartwarming to see clients and caregivers bond, create, and enjoy this meaningful experience together.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success! 💛📚🎨

🎄 Spreading Joy This Christmas 🎄
Yesterday, we had the privilege of delivering Christmas gifts to our kiddos. These moments remind us that the true value of the season isn’t in the presents themselves, but in the love, care, and sense of belonging we provide.
Every child deserves to feel special, supported, and cherished—not just during the holidays, but every day. At CSKF, we believe that investing in their well-being is the greatest gift of all.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Together, we are creating brighter futures and stronger families. 💙

Creative Solutions for Kids and Families - Behavioral Health would like to start featuring our Art Interventions of the Month. 🎨 This intervention of the month is DIY slime. Thank you to all our awesome therapists and behavioral specialists for having their own "slime party" with our youth and families. Our team had so much fun showing our kiddos and their families how to make their own DIY slime with items they may already have at home. This art intervention can help youth by providing a fun sensory activity, serving as a grounding tool for emotional regulation, improving focus and motor skills, and reducing stress and anxiety.
Special shoutout to our sponsors Enterprise Mobility🥰😍 who helped fund all the materials needed for our "Slime Party."
Stay tuned for next month’s Art Intervention! 💡
