Public Works will be closing Meadow St from Rt 90 to South St at 8:30 tomorrow (10/28) morning until 11:30.

Please plan accordingly as we understand that this will impact many morning commutes.

Paving on Meadow St (Rt 90 to Rt 17) will occur on Monday and Tuesday- Travelers are encouraged to find an alternative route as the paving company may find it nessicary to close the road.

Rockport Common has begun taking shape. It's early yet, mostly fencing, permits, and the first earthwork, the unglamorous groundwork that has to happen before anything else can. It's not much to look at from the road, but it's the beginning of something we've been waiting on for a long time.

If you'd like to know what's happening at the park, we've launched a landing page at rockportcommon.org so you don't have to guess what's going on behind the fence. Check in as often as you like. We'll share significant updates as the work moves forward, season by season, until the park is ready for us all.

WEST ST EXT is opening back up today!! We are very excited to see this new culvert in place and are grateful to everyone who has helped make this long overdue project come to completion.

West St Ext is so close to being completed now. New pavement will be laid Wednesday and the road will be reopened once done! Thank you all for your continued patience while this project has been underway.
