β€οΈππ€ Honoring Juneteenth π€πβ€οΈ
Today, the Royal Oak Woman's Club joins communities across the nation in commemorating Juneteenth, a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.
Observed on June 19, Juneteenth is a time to reflect on our nation's history, honor the contributions and achievements of Black Americans, and recommit ourselves to building stronger, more inclusive communities.
As an organization dedicated to service, education, and civic engagement, we recognize the importance of learning from the past while working together toward a brighter future for all.
Wishing everyone a meaningful Juneteenth as we celebrate freedom, heritage, and hope.
