Who doesn’t love a little extra sleep? 🧡

Just a friendly reminder that Daylight Saving Time ends this Sunday, November 1st!

Before you snuggle into bed Saturday night, don’t forget to turn your clocks BACK one hour! ⏰

✨ An extra hour of sleep? Yes, please!

As we settle into shorter days and cooler evenings, let’s remember to slow down, stay safe, and keep an extra eye out for our students and families during those darker afternoon hours. 🧡

🍁 Wishing all our families a cozy, restful weekend filled with a little extra time to recharge!

🌼🕯️ Día de los Mu***os | Honoring Our Loved Ones 🧡

Día de los Mu***os is a cherished Mexican tradition rooted in love, remembrance, and a deep connection to family and ancestry.

Observed on November 1 and 2, this meaningful celebration honors the lives of loved ones who have passed. Through beautifully decorated ofrendas (altars), vibrant cempasúchil (marigolds), photographs, candles, and favorite foods, families come together to remember and celebrate those who remain forever in their hearts.

More than a day of mourning, Día de los Mu***os is a celebration of life, family, cultural heritage, and the enduring bonds that connect generations.

As we recognize this beautiful tradition, we honor the rich cultural heritage of our Mexican and Mexican American families and the meaningful ways their stories and traditions enrich our community.

🧡 Recordamos con amor a quienes siempre vivirán en nuestros corazones.

We remember with love those who will forever live in our hearts.

Wishing everyone a very Safe & Happy Halloween! 🎃👻🍬
As families head out for a night of fun, costumes, and treats, here are a few Halloween tips & tricks to help keep everyone safe:

🧡 Choose bright or reflective costumes so children are easy to see
🧡 Use flashlights or glow sticks when walking at night
🧡 Stay together and make a plan before heading out
🧡 Walk on sidewalks and use crosswalks whenever possible
🧡 Check all candy before eating
🧡 Make sure costumes fit properly to help prevent trips and falls
🧡 Remind children never to enter a stranger’s home or car
🧡 Drivers: slow down and watch carefully for trick-or-treaters in neighborhoods

Let’s work together to make Halloween fun, festive, and safe for all!
