Training never stops for our Police Department.

Our officers recently participated in Force-on-Force Active Shooter Training, a hands-on exercise that uses realistic scenarios to strengthen decision-making, communication, and response strategies during critical incidents.

The purpose of this training is to help officers safely and effectively respond to active threat situations while protecting the people they serve. By continually practicing these skills, our officers remain prepared to respond quickly and decisively during emergencies.

We would like to THANK - Councilwoman District 3 Phyllis Viagran’s Office for their show of appreciation. A representative from District 3 visited the San Antonio ISD Police Department today and dropped off a plate and a box of baked goods in observance of National First Responders Day.

San Antonio ISD Police Dept. was honored to participate in a community helper event with Pre-K students at Schenck Elementary, SAISD!
Officers enjoyed sharing information about their role in the community and helping young learners explore the many ways people serve and support others. Thank you for inviting SAISD PD to be part of such a meaningful experience!

What an incredible evening yesterday, October 6, 2026 at National Night Out! We enjoyed meeting families, visiting with community members, and sharing in an evening dedicated to fostering strong community partnerships.
