Singapore Consulate-General in San Francisco

Had a great visit to Utah, the beautiful Beehive State.

Happy to have had good and fruitful meetings with Lieutenant Governor Deidre M. Henderson, State Senate President J. Stuart Adams, State Senate Economic Development and Workforce Services Committee Chair Senator Ann Millner, State House Business, Labor and Commerce Committee Chair Representative A. Cory Maloy, World Trade Center Utah President and CEO Jonathan Freedman, and Salt Lake Chamber President and CEO Derek B. Miller.

Discussions focused on strengthening the trade and economic partnership between Singapore and Utah, including opportunities for new areas of collaboration.

The Republic of Singapore Air Force’s (RSAF) Peace Vanguard detachment was established in Marana, Arizona, in 2003.

It was a pleasure to visit the detachment and meet the RSAF servicemen and servicewomen who serve there. Thank you for your dedication and hard work!

The Consulate-General is very appreciative of our partnership with the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD) to organise regular runs of the Disaster Preparedness Workshop for members of the Singapore community.

We spent the day today picking up useful skills and learning how best to prepare for an emergency.

The four ASEAN Consulates-General in San Francisco jointly organised an ASEAN Family Day for colleagues and loved ones to come together to enjoy great company, delicious food, and fun activities.

It was a joyful day that celebrated our ASEAN family, cultures and communities, and further strengthened our bonds of friendship.

It was a real treat for the Consulate-General to host our official National Day reception in the company of so many friends of Singapore.

It was a special occasion to celebrate our country’s 60th birthday, and an opportunity to reflect on what Singapore means to you.

The Consulate-General is grateful to the Mayor’s Office of the City and County of San Francisco for flying the Singapore flag at City Hall and for lighting up the building in our country’s colours of red and white on the occasion of Singapore’s 60th National Day.

We are also honoured that Mayor Daniel Lurie proclaimed 9 August 2025 as Singaporean-American Friendship and Heritage Day in San Francisco!
